By reserving a pass, you will be providing your library card barcode, your name, and your zip code.  

Participation in RAD Pass is free, however if you print your pass from a Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh location,  you’ll need to ask a library employee to waive the printing fee. Printing policies vary at other Allegheny County libraries, so please ask your local library about printing costs.  

Patrons must be at least 18 years of age to reserve a pass in the RAD Pass program. A library card from any Allegheny County library  is required to participate. Out of county/state cards will not be accepted. 

Once a patron has retrieved a pass, the reservations cannot be canceled. 

All passes must be used by the person named on the reservation and on the date specified. 

Participating cultural institutions may require ID from patrons. IDs that are acceptable to prove identity of the pass holder include: 

• Current PA State driver’s license 
• Current PA State driver’s permit 
• Current PA State identification card
